Job Summary Responsibilities encompass defining, documenting, testing, and enforcing security-minded policies and software configuration on end user devices. The incumbent will handle complex testing for quality assurance. Key Responsibilities Define and implement Security standards using NIST documents, DISA guidance, and industry best practices for end user devices including Windows 7/8, AndroidOS, iOS, and MacOS’s Create, plan, and execute testing of applications and devices for quality assurance, including defining testing objectives, and develop utility scripts for use in workspace and virtual environments. Manage the global implementation and operations of Security tools such as Symantec Anti-virus, Bit9, and McAfee and/or Microsoft encryption solutions Manage technical documentation processes, and, when required, deployment of software / updates. Develop approaches to improve data security on end-user devices, with the most ideal user experience available. Define an approach and manage Operating System, browser, and 3rd-party patches across a global enterprise Assist Device Engineering teammates with escalated incidents and issues regarding to endpoint security products. Partner and keep up-to-date with the rest of IT team and assist with projects as needed or requested. Special Skills and Knowledge The candidate should have a particular focus on Information Security on the endpoint, as the job requires the ability to manage and balance security and compliance with end user experience. The job requires experience with security products, such as antivirus and encryption tools. To enforce and deploy the necessary configuration and settings, the job requires advanced knowledge and experience with application packaging and deployment, Group Policy management, and experience with standard deployment technology, such as Configuration Manager (SCCM). In addition to these technical requirements, the job requires experience reviewing documentation and test plans for system support and deployment. Experience working with USGCB, NIST, or DISA standards would be preferred, and an ideal candidate would have a Security+ certification and experience with software updates management and deployment for both operating system and applications. Minimum Qualifications B.A. Preferred with 2 - 5 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
