Oracle Fusion Applications has caused a considerable amount of excitement among customers as well as the consulting/developer community. Oracle’s ability to draw the best of the talent from the industry to build a best of breed applications within Oracle’s product family is the primary reason for this excitement. IT leadership across the companies that have deployed Oracle’s products are anxiously waiting to see if their existing investments in IT infrastructure and resources will still be productive and if Oracle would continue to support and enhance the existing product suites. Wipro has partnered with Oracle throughout the development lifecycle of Oracle Fusion Applications and has made considerable investment in developing competency and a knowledge base of Oracle Fusion Applications. Wipro believes that the adoption of Oracle Fusion Applications will happen in phases especially in the existing customer base of Oracle Applications. We believe these customers would look at leveraging the new features and functionality of Oracle Fusion Applications while protecting their current investment across the Oracle Applications investments. This paper explains our point of view to the Business & IT user community about the key features of Oracle Fusion Applications Talent Management Suite and its ability to co-exist with the current versions of Oracle Applications.
