Deep Kalra founded MakeMyTrip.com in April 2000, and it is now India’s largest online travel company. Kalra, a former executive with GE Capital and ABN AMRO, is currently CEO of the company and floated it on NASDAQ in August 2010. At a recent EY Strategic Growth Forum® in India, Kalra discussed MakeMyTrip.com, the growth challenges, capital raising through an IPO and the lessons learned from it.
