Author: Joan Tenner A mother’s delight are her grandchildren. For this “grandmother” a special time for her was to share Halloween. The grandchildren would always stop at grandma’s house dressed in their costumes prior to their night of trick or treating and listened to spooky stories of ghost, goblins, and witches. As grandma read her stories, her grandchildren listen wide-eyed and spellbound. Little did the children know, though they may have suspected, Grandma was the witch in her stories. Surely not, the children “all agreed, the stories were not true” – but fun to tell and read. No witch could brew a magic stew or cast a magic spell! That is all just make believe for nights like Halloween” . . . or was it?
