EnCorps is a two year commitment for our Educators. Once accepted to our program, all Educators formally kick-off their EnCorps experience in June at our Summer Residential Institute. Following Institute, EnCorps Educators engage in pre-service volunteer tutoring and/or guest teaching. Volunteer placements are assigned over the summer, and EnCorps Educators begin their volunteer experience in the fall, at the beginning of the school year. During that first academic semester, each educator chooses a track within EnCorps that they will follow. The remainder of their year, as well as their second year, will be determined by the track they choose.
