Job Description: This position will act as the Security Patrol and Courier within the Hershey Entertainment Complex Safety & Security Department. The position requires a high level of independence and quick response to rapidly changing conditions throughout the Hershey Entertainment and Resorts properties. Job Functions: Provide exemplary service to guests and team members Providing security/transportation of money/financial documents Patrol and secure properties throughout the Company. Respond to and aide in emergency situations to include, but not limited to, alarm response, medical emergencies, etc. Perform Mail Run as needed Complete general security tasks Perform and complete assigned tasks from management as needed Interact with guests/employees/emergency responders in a calm, professional manner in all situations. Assist in traffic control as needed. Prepare, document and create incident reports Enforce company and complex policies and procedures Monitor crowd, employee and guest conduct Consistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited, to use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with Hershey Entertainment and Resorts appearance standards Basic Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older Must possess a high school diploma or have comparative education (ie GED) Must possess valid driver’s license Additional Qualifications: Prefer a minimum of three (3) years of employment with the Hershey Entertainment Safety & Security Department. Prefer Supervisory experience, but not required. Must be detailed oriented and have proven excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be innovative and be self-motivated to complete tasks Must have reliable transportation to and from work Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information and work without conflict of interest Must have the ability to make sound decisions independently Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines Report writing experience is preferred Additional Information: Personnel accepted into this position will only be authorized to work Patrol shifts and will NOT be scheduled for or eligible to work Complex shifts (Park, GIANT Center, Theatre, Events, Traffic, etc.) Working Conditions: Ability to lift and carry up to 70lbs Operating a motor vehicle up to 60% of shift Standing, sitting and walking up to 40% of shift Work consists of being inside and outside in varying weather conditions Must be able to commit to 32 hours a week between 6:30 AM- 5:00 PM including days, evenings, nights, weekends (including both Saturday and Sunday), and holiday Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
