Looking for a Tax Accountant that is honest, professional and personable. Job Duties: Provide general ledger system support regarding functional issues of financial and management reporting. Prepare estimated federal and state income tax payments. Research and prepare work papers for various book to tax differences. Perform year-end accrual review and prepare the tax provision. Prepare various federal and state income tax returns. Prepare various personal property tax returns. Prepare/review other various tax filings, such as Annual reports, Intangible Tax, Sales and Use Tax. Research projects. Assist in federal and state audits. Maintain tax preparation system. Assist in financial planning and analysis. Ideal candidate will have the following: Accounting degree with excellent communication skills, be proficient in computer operations, problem solving, and be honest and dependable. Job duties include all phases of accounting, including individual and business income tax preparation. Background checks will be conducted. Pay is DOE $35,000 - 40,000 for the right candidate.
